Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the head coach is responsible for developing and managing a team of assistant coaches and student athletes to successfully compete on the Universities behalf. The head coach joins with faculty, administration and staff to educate and mentor students in ways that challenge their intellect, encourage their faith, direct their ambitions, and develop their character through thoughtful conversations and active relationships. The coach should seek to foster a culture of competitive excellence while cherishing humility, respect, accountability, and equality. The head coach will administer and direct all aspects of the men’s basketball program in accordance with University, NCAA DII and Great Midwest Conference by-laws and guidelines. Responsibilities
