The purpose of this position is to assist with the administration of the Sports Medicine Program for the health, safety and welfare of student-athletes under general supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer. Essential Job Duties Evaluate, treat and rehabilitate athletic injuries. Supervise sports medicine needs of specific teams as assigned by head trainer. Assist in establishing and maintaining a working relationship with coaches, physicians, parents and University Health Services and refer students as necessary. Assist with the medical record-keeping and insurance for student-athletes. Coordinate pre-participation physical examinations with head athletic trainer.
