To assist the Head Strength Coach in the development, promotion and supervision of all facets of the College’s Strength & Conditioning program. Design and guide student-athletes through a regimen of exercises to optimize performance and decrease potential for injury; teaching proper weight lifting, speed, agility, and conditioning techniques while motivating student-athletes to train and perform to their utmost potential.
1.Program design and implementation for assigned programs. Ensure proper technique and safe training conditions for all student-athletes and teams.
2.Upkeep of the varsity weight room. Ensure weight room is secure, clean, and in safe working order at all times.
3.Communication and coordination of rehabilitation for injured student-athletes with the Sports Medicine staff.
4.Work with the Associate AD/Compliance to ensure all NCAA and MAAC regulations are followed.
Valid driver’s license, CPR and First Aid Certifications. Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.
