The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a Academic and SA Development Coordinator Intercollegiate Athletics This position monitors the academic progress of assigned student athletes and reports to the Assistant Athletic Director – Academic Success. Meets weekly with assigned student athletes. Records and maintains accurate documentation of student athlete degree progress. Coordinates tutoring and Educational Assistant services for student athletes, which includes hiring, training, supervising and evaluating tutoring staff. Support and connect student athletes to resources with personal, social and behavioral problems that may be affecting his/ her educational situation. Coordinates Summit League academic awards. Coordinates and facilities practice times from coaches each semester and sends to campus advisors and coordinates/facilitates travel schedules from coaches and sends to faculty via GradesFirst or current platform. Assist in the facilitation of incoming student athlete orientation.
