The Assistant Director of Equipment will co-manage the operation of the Petersen Sports Complex equipment and laundry room for Olympic Sports.
The position is responsible for the use, security, and maintenance of equipment, apparel, and shoes according to established departmental policies and procedures and within safety standards set by the NCAA, AEMA, and the Department of Risk Management.
The Assistant Director is also responsible for:
Issuing and retrieving equipment and apparel, assisting with laundry operations, inspecting incoming supplies and equipment
Establishing an ongoing equipment inventory system, assisting with budget development and management, and processing orders
Supervising student assistants, packing for away competitions, and assisting in the maintenance and repair of clothes and related team equipment
Attending professional meetings to increase professional knowledge
