The Liberty University Athletics Department is currently seeking interested and qualified candidates for a Social Media & Digital Design Graduate Assistant.
This position will report to the Liberty Flames Sports Network Director and will have oversight by the Senior Associate Athletics Director - External Operations.
This position will assist in developing and implementing social media initiatives for Liberty Athletics. Duties will include, but are not limited to: 1. Creatively tell the unique stories of Liberty Athletics through social media. 2. Support the digital and graphic design needs of the creative services, athletics marketing and ticket office departments. 3. Develop social media promotions that lead to revenue generation. 4. Collaborate with other external departments, including but not limited to communications, ticketing, and Liberty Flames Sports Network, to accomplish department goals. 5. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design
Preferred skills in videography and photography
Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc…) and athletic marketing
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Team player willing to “get hands dirty” and help out where needed
Creative, self-motivated individual who takes initiative, outgoing personality combined with strong determination to work through difficult challenges
Ability to work evenings and weekends on a flexible schedule
Must apply and be admitted to a graduate program at Liberty University
