Position Summary: Keiser University, a member of the NAIA and The Sun Conference, is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Graduate Assistant Diving Coach. This position will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the diving program, including coaching, recruiting, administrative duties, and student-athlete support, while pursuing a graduate degree at Keiser University.
Key Responsibilities:
Coaching & Training:
Assist in planning and leading daily diving practices, including skill development, dryland training, and conditioning.
Provide individualized feedback to student-athletes and support technical development through video analysis.
Provide meet-day coaching support.
Recruitment:
Help identify and evaluate prospective student-athletes.
Assist in managing recruiting communications and coordinating campus visits.
Maintain up-to-date records on recruiting activity and prospects.
Student-Athlete Support:
Monitor and support the academic progress of team members to ensure eligibility and academic success.
Serve as a positive role model and mentor to student-athletes, promoting integrity, responsibility, and performance excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
Must be accepted into a Keiser University graduate program and maintain full-time enrollment throughout the assistantship.
Prior competitive diving experience or coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation & Benefits:
Partial or full tuition remission for graduate coursework.
Hourly pay (up to 20 hours per week) to assist with living expenses.
Hands-on experience in collegiate athletics, including recruiting, coaching, operations, and program development.
