ROLE of the POSITION The Assistant Director for Strategic Communications reports directly to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Communications. This position exists to create and implement strategic plans for the publicity, promotion and support of multiple assigned UNLV intercollegiate athletics sports programs which includes Women’s Basketball. The primary goal of this position is to generate positive exposure and interest in UNLV Athletics, while managing the day-to-day storytelling, digital and social media, media relations, sports information and general communications responsibilities
