The Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach assists the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach in all phases of the lacrosse program. Westminster College is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA II). This is a part-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the administration and management of the men’s lacrosse program. Assist in practice and game preparation and perform on field coaching duties. Observe and supervise student-athletes to determine need for individual or team improvement. Scout and prepare game plans for upcoming opponents. Support travel planning and execution for team travel away from campus. Evaluate and recruit student-athletes from high school and junior colleges. Support development of players’ skills during off season training. Oversee event/game management to include field set up/tear-down for all home games. Help develop a pre-season schedule of games. Comply with all NCAA, conference and athletic department rules and regulations. Work closely with other staff to promote intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the college learning environment and support the academic success of student-athletes. Perform all responsibilities with the highest ethical standards, consistent with the College’s mission, vision and values, including diversity, equity and inclusion. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Salary Information: Hourly rate of pay, non-benefit eligible.
