Anderson University, a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference is accepting applications for the position of Head Women's Soccer Coach.
Responsibilities: Head coach responsibilities include but are not limited to: overseeing all phases of a competitive Division III soccer program; assistant coaches, budget management, recruiting, game scheduling and travel, player development and team building, practice oversight, game coaching, fundraising and alumni relations. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (required); a master’s degree is preferred. Also required are previous coaching experience (collegiate preferred); a clear understanding of NCAA III philosophy and the student-athlete experience; ability to recruit in Indiana and contiguous states; ability to work as a part of a team environment. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with a diverse student body, faculty and staff, effective problem solving skills and personal initiative.
Candidates should have belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ and the Christian faith as interpreted through the historic witness of the Bible and the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit. They should possess a vitality of Christian experience that is maturing in insight and application. Candidates must meet University lifestyle expectations.
Benefits: 12 month, benefits eligible position.
