Young Harris College is seeking two Assistant Athletic Trainers to work under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer and supervise the care of student-athletes under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer and Director of Athletics. This individual will be responsible for the following: prevention of athletic injuries and illnesses, evaluation of athletic injuries, treatment of athletic injuries, providing education and counseling to student-athletes about their injury/illness, maintaining appropriate documentation and recordkeeping, handling all insurance claims, and effectively communicating with physicians and other allied health professionals to deliver care to student-athletes.

A Bachelor's degree is required and three to five years experience, with a Master's degree preferred. Must be certified by the National Association Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC), have State of Georgia Athletic Training Licensure, or ability to apply for Licensure and familiarity with NCAA governing rules is required.
