Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree is preferred
- One or more years of successful strength & conditioning coaching experience
- Experience teaching and coaching techniques and skills in Olympic-style weight-lifting exercises and sport specific speed, agility, and quickness (SAQ); various computer software applications, including Microsoft Office programs, Teambuildr or other sports performance software
- Ability to work effectively in the environment of an academic demanding liberal arts institution
- Abide by all NCAA Division III, Centennial Conference and institutional policies
- Proficient with technology applications applicable to the position
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record in accordance with all institutional policies
- Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) or Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA)
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification is required
