Duties: day-to-day coaching of student athletes; individual skill instruction; recruit athletic and academically sound, competitive student athletes that can compete on the NCAA Division II level; establish a strong working relationship with the University and surrounding community; follow NCAA, Great American Conference and University rules and regulations; assistance with pre-match preparations to include travel arrangements and player accommodations; assist in community and public relations, promotion of teams within the community, oversight of local practice facilities as well as serve as a positive role model for student athletes. Additional assignments depending on qualifications will be assigned by the Director of Athletics and other duties assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; demonstrate evidence of successful experience in coaching; record of success in collegiate and/or interscholastic tennis coaching/competing; effective communication; excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail; interpersonal skills and commitment to total success of students.
