POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Athletic Trainer will work with the Head Athletic Trainer, Director of Athletics, Coaches and Student-Athletes to coordinate injury prevention, evaluations, rehabilitation programs, and work with insurance companies as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •On site care for injury, evaluation treatment and rehabilitation programs •Asses risk of injury, perform ergonomic evaluation and coaching/instructing athletes, self-care implementation and conduct overall wellness programs •Complete injury and treatment records for the Athletic Department and physician groups •Work with insurance companies as needed •Communicate and work with the Head Coaches to manage the care of their specific team •Perform rehab, injury prevention and coverage for assigned teams •Assis
