The Assistant Coach, Men’s Soccer will assist the Head Coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer program that competes at the highest level. Responsibilities include recruiting, scouting, coaching, travel coordination, program administration, fundraising and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach, Men’s Soccer will develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public. The Assistant Coach will have knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of two years coaching experience, soccer operations experience or four years playing experience at the collegiate or professional level.
Preferences: A Master’s degree is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, administrative and computer skills along with a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National B license or equivalent is preferred.
