The Assistant Coach, Track & Field, will assist the head coach with the organization, development, and implementation of a competitive NCAA Division I Track & Field program that competes at the highest level. This position will have primary coaching responsibilities in the sprinting events with support in the jumps. Applicants must have NCAA Division I coaching experience in the sprinting events with some knowledge or experience in the jumps. Additional responsibilities include daily operations, recruiting, fundraising, community service, alumni outreach, and additional related tasks as assigned by the head coach. The Assistant Coach will be expected to develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, and the general public. The Assistant Coach will possess a strong knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to the full academic development of student athletes.

Bachelor’s degree required along with Level I Track & Field certification. Direct coaching experience working within a collegiate program is required.
