The Assistant Director of Marketing in conjunction with coaching staff and athletic personnel, will develop a comprehensive marketing plan for assigned sports, including oversight of media buys, creation of radio, print, television and social media content; utilize budgeted resources to enhance attendance at home sporting events for assigned sports; build relationships with community leaders through e-mail, phone, and in-person meetings conducting group sales, rights holder & sponsor fulfillment.
The Assistant Director of Marketing may also assist with the home game fan experience at football, special events & men’s & women’s basketball preparing game scripts, assisting with promotions, music, & special presentations. The position will assist in oversight of undergraduate student workers during home games for assigned sports, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
