St. Bonaventure University is seeking highly motivated applicants for the full time position of Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Effectively assist the head coach in planning and coaching all practices/training sessions and actively instructing in all games and practices.
•Actively recruit to identify qualified PSA’s.
•Successfully communicate with PSAs, current student-athletes, parents, coaches, and departmental staff.
•Assist in ordering equipment/apparel needs including inventory
•Assist in planning team travel logistics including hotels, busses and team meals
•Coordinate academic advising meetings with student-athletes to enhance overall academic team success.
•Assist with film duties including breaking down film
•Provide support with all fundraising/ special events
Bachelors Degree required; Master's preferred with NCAA collegiate playing experience;
CPR, First-Aid and AED certification is required or the ability to attain upon hire;
Knowledge of NCAA rules and strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community is essential.
