K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Soccer, Rowing & Cheer, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and monitoring the strength and conditioning program for one or more sports, which includes program design and implementation involving advanced training of student-athletes in sport specific, performance enhancing strength and conditioning workouts.
Internship Coordinator-Coordinate Strength and Conditioning Internship Curriculum designed to educate, develop, and mentor Kansas State students interested in strength and conditioning at the college level.
Carry out assigned responsibilities as instructed by Director of Strength and Conditioning for Olympic Sports and as outlined in the strength and conditioning policies and procedures manual.
Communicate with sports medicine staff regarding student-athlete injuries and modifications made to workouts for each injured/rehabilitating student-athlete in his/her assigned sport.
Responsible for assisting in the appearance, maintenance and organization of equipment in the weight facility, as well as the education and enforcement of weight room rules.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning for Olympic Sports.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree at time of application
Strength and conditioning experience with a collegiate sports program
Current certification by either one of the two NCAA recognized strength and conditioning certification organizations: NSCA-CSCS or CSCCa-SCCC
Strong verbal and written communication skills with program staff members, sport coaches and student-athletes
Experience working effectively with student-athletes from diverse ethnic, cultural and/or socio-economic backgrounds
Preferred Requirements:
Master's Degree at time of application
Strength and conditioning experience with a collegiate track & field, rowing and/or cheer program
Experience as a college student-athlete at any level
