Hampden-Sydney College invites applications for Assistant Soccer Coach. Reporting to the Head Soccer Coach, assist in the operation of the Hampden-Sydney soccer program. Implement athletic department and NCAA policies. Recruit student athlete prospects that meet the academic requirements for the College. The recruiting of qualified student-athletes to Hampden-Sydney and the soccer program will be a major aspect of the effectiveness of this position. Responsibilities will include the prospecting and consistent communication with prospects and recruits. The successful candidate will scout student-athletes at clinics and camps as assigned by the head coach.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Must have knowledge of and be able to work effectively within the rules of ODAC and NCAA. Must have proven leadership, organizational and communication skills. This is a full-time, 12 month position with benefits. Position available July 1, 2023.
