Delta State University is seeking a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer to provide healthcare services to intercollegiate student-athletes. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing healthcare for the assigned team(s), including operations of the athletic training facility, injury prevention programs, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with student-athletes and the team physician, gaining experience in athletic training room operations, administrative duties, and team coverage in intercollegiate athletics. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and performance of student-athletes in an NCAA Division II scholarship athletics environment at Delta State University, a member of the Gulf South Conference with 13 Varsity sports. Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
BOC certification and state licensure in Athletic Training
CPR/AED certification
Experience in athletic training and injury rehabilitation
