Position Summary

The Athletics Travel/Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Athletics Travel and Business Operations with travel functions for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education and supporting athletic team travel needs.
Responsibilities
Assist in all aspects of travel arrangements for 32 athletic programs as well as administrative units in Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education Identify most cost-effective means of travel while collaborating with coaches and administrators to meet all travel needs.

Research and secure quality hotel and flight accommodations that are cost effective for away travel, recruiting travel, official visits and administrative travel and assist varsity sports program in organizing team meals for away contests.
Assist varsity sports programs with transportation arrangements for practice and competition schedules.
Assist in managing the master Baker Athletics Complex shuttle bus schedule to ensure efficient operation and cost efficiencies and assist with game day operations all home football contests for fan and shuttle bus management
Coordinate with third party bus company to secure all home and away contest buses and fan buses for select local competitions
Assist the Director of Travel and Business Operations with varsity sports programs on individual team travel budgets and annual budgeting process
Assist with payment and reconciliation for all team travel vendors
Assist with monthly P-card hard-close procedures
Review and process invoices and expense reports as needed
Coordinate with varsity sports programs on itineraries for away travel and official visits as needed
Assist teams and admin with ad hoc travel requests as needed and assigned by the Director of Travel and Business Operations or the Sr Associate Athletics Director / CFO
Exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with adherence to NCAA, Council of Ivy League Presidents, University, and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education rules and regulations
Contribute to the maintenance of good working relationships with all members of the Department.
Assume other duties as assigned by the Director, Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education.

Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent related experience
