This position will develop a robust recruiting program to attract elite women’s golf athletes. Travel nationally and internationally to build relationships with women’s golf programs, identify and recruit top women’s golf athletes.
Assist the Head Coach in coaching practice and competitions. Develop team practice and organizational plans. Assist with scheduling and travel arrangements. Oversee program budgets, fundraising and alumni relations. Monitor academic progress of the student-athletes. Other duties as assigned.
Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Pacific-12 Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or advanced degree and coaching experience at the collegiate Division 1 level. Demonstrated experience and proven success in recruiting national and international elite golf athletes who have ranked highly in high school or college competition, and/or who advanced to compete professionally. Successful experience competing at the collegiate or professional level. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
