The Assistant Track & Field Coach (Throws) will be involved in all aspects of the SMSU Track & Field Program. This position focuses on throws training, coaching, recruiting / retention, team organization and management. Other job duties may be assigned within the department based on expertise of candidate.
· Bachelor’s degree
· Throws coaching experience
· Collegiate coaching experience
· Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
· Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment; demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds.
