Works with the Head Coach Women's Beach Volleyball Coach to ensure an outstanding student-athlete experience. Assist the Head Coach in the operation of the Beach Volleyball program. Teach beach volleyball skills. Assist with administrative skills.
- Teach all skills including, technical and tactical aspects of skills, assist in the development of offense and defense, in game statistics and coaching, scout opponent's and prepare competitive strategies. Assist in recruiting to identify and recruit potential future student-athletes. Assist and implement practice plans and generate effective communication and feedback to student-athletes. Compete with and against student-athletes in practice as needed.
- Liaison with Communications and Marketing office and lead the team's social media campaign (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and marketing efforts to increase attendance and community support.
- Work with the Sports Performance department on carrying out an effective strength and conditioning program for the team. Work with student-athlete support services and create an environment in which all student-athletes and staff can thrive.
Know, recognize, and comply with the laws, policies, rules, and regulations governing the College and its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (including, but not limited to, NCAA Bylaw, Article 11 and its requirement to report all athletically-related income and benefits from sources outside of the College to the President) and of the West Coast Conference as now constituted or as may be amended in the future. Supervise and ensure that any assistants and any other employees and/or volunteers for whom you are administratively responsible comply with the aforesaid policies, rules and regulations. Immediately advise the Director of Athletics if you have reasonable cause to believe violations, whether by employees or students, have occurred or will occur.
