Kansas Athletics is seeking a Production Specialist to join our talented Rock Chalk Video team! This position performs a variety of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: editing for all athletics platforms (editing would include work for live events in all sports and feature pieces for in house, television, social, and other areas within Kansas Athletics); assisting in the production of live ESPN3 broadcasts of Kansas Athletic events; potential technical directing duties for a variety of Kansas Athletics sporting events; assisting in the live production of Kansas Athletics; assisting in the video production needs of the entire athletics department; and performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletics Director- Broadcast Services.
This role will take on more of the social media components rather than live-shooting.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of two years’ experience in live sports production, content creation at the university or professional sports level
- Highly creative editor with experience in sports
- Demonstrated editing skills and experience using professional editing software
- Demonstrated experience using After Effects and Photoshop software
- Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights and weekends coinciding with Athletic events throughout the year
- Ability to travel frequently to provide video support to athletic teams throughout the year
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in live sports production at the NCAA Division I level
- Experience directing/technical directing live multi-camera sporting events
