Duties and Responsibilities of this position include: Learning Specialist- 60% - Duties related to the Learning Specialist role include, but are not limited to, the following: - Assist with educational screenings and assessments of incoming student-athletes to determine individual learning needs and appropriate academic strategies - Develop and implement individualized academic support plans for identified student-athletes to address topics such as goal-setting, time management, organization, academic success strategies, and self-advocacy skills - Coordinate academic support plans for an assigned caseload of student-athletes with their academic support team, which includes Academic Advisors, tutors, Graduate Assistants - Monitor academic progress for student-athletes in assigned case
