Under general supervision of the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance, and under the daily lead direction of the Head Athletic Trainer, the Athletic Trainer I follows well established guidelines and procedures in providing the full range of clinical athletic training functions for student-athletes during training and competition, in accordance with the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) guidelines. The Athletic Trainer I also provides injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation for athletic injuries.
