In collaboration with head coaches and athletic administrative staff, assistant coaches plan and lead training and practice sessions, while ensuring the appropriate safety standards are maintained. They are also responsible for developing in athletes an understanding of proper nutrition, personal health and safe strength development techniques. This position is also required to teach 2-3 physical education courses annually, as well as identifies and recruits athletically and academically qualified student-athletes. Additional duties will include scouting of opponents, managing team travel, organizing community service activities and maintaining parent and alumni communication.
