The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training support to various student athletes on the Emory campus. Essential Functions: Provide clinic and event coverage as assigned by Head Athletic Trainer Prevention of injuries and Illnesses Evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses Consultation and education of students Daily record keeping and documentation Collaborating with other healthcare professionals Supervise work study students Maintenance of clinic Follow OSHA guidelines Follow HIPAA and FERPA regulations and guidelines Assist with maintenance of Policies and Procedures Manual Assist with maintenance of budgets, records and reports Assist with education of staff and students Other
