The University of South Alabama, a NCAA Division I institution, charter member of the Sun Belt Conference and located on the Gulf Coast in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking applicants for the position of Athletic Trainer I. The position's essential job functions are: * Provides athletic training and sports medicine services for University athletics to include attendance at scheduled team practices and designated competitions as assigned. * Prepares athletes for daily practices and games to prevent injuries and illnesses. * Implements rehabilitation program for musculoskeletal injuries. * Assists with coordination of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Coordinates medical appointments and doctor’s referrals. * Maintains medical record documentation of injuries, illness, treatments
