The Assistant Athletic Trainer reports directly to the Head Athletic Trainer, which will develop, coordinate, and administer a comprehensive sports medical program for Allen University intercollegiate athletics. This will include baseline concussion testing, injury prevention programs, injury evaluations, management, treatment and rehabilitation, and educational programs and counseling for student-athletes. The employee will also perform professional and administrative services essential for the successful implementation and development of the program. The athletic trainer serves in the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of student-athletic injuries and will participate in professional development seminars and/or conferences to stay abreast of the challenges facing student-athletics.
