The University of Nevada, Reno Athletic Department is recruiting for the position of Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Medicine. The Assistant Athletics Director, under the direction of the Head Team Physician, supervises and coordinates the Sports Medicine staff and serves as the athletic trainer to assigned sports teams. The incumbent serves as a liaison to community medical providers and campus providers to ensure coverage for all student-athletic needs. The position provides education, counseling and guidance for student-athletes regarding their conditions and consults with health care providers regarding injuries.
