The Athletics Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”) Coordinator supports the vision, management, and planning of all DEI initiatives for the VCU Department of Athletics. Working closely with the Athletics Chief Diversity Officer, the Athletics DEI Coordinator will promote diversity, equity and inclusion efforts for the department’s student-athletes, coaches, and staff and in support of VCU Athletics’ strategic plan . The ideal Athletics DEI Coordinator will have a passion for the principles of inclusivity, and will help generate creative ideas to make VCU Athletics better: easier to access, with fewer barriers, more welcoming, and a greater sense of belonging.
