The Athletics Sports Information graduate assistant works with the Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations in managing all aspects of the Athletics Media Relations Department. Examples of work performed: 1.Assist in all publicity efforts of the department; brochures for all sports, press kits, press releases and specialty brochures as needed and social media – specifically for the sports of women’s soccer, softball and men’s and women’s cross country and track and field. 2.Assist in the supervision of game statistical and press coverage as assigned. 3.Assist as a media contact for the athletics department. Interacts on a regular basis with the local electronic and print media as well as LU external staff. 4.Works cooperatively with Western Athletic
