Summary Barry University, Intercollegiate Athletics department is currently seeking an Athletic Communications Specialist. The Athletic Communications Specialist will work together with the Director of Athletic Communications and Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications in publicizing the overall athletics department, including the planning and execution of communication efforts for Barry’s 13 sports, as well as special projects for the department. Essential Functions •Proactively cultivate media coverage for Barry Athletics. Produce content for individual sports and the department on various levels, including press releases, feature stories, social media and new media content. Write, edit and design publications for assigned sports and areas as needed
