Wabash College, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), seeks a passionate and dedicated Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach to join our athletics staff. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a program that values excellence, character, and academic rigor.
The Assistant Coach will support the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach in all aspects of coaching, recruiting, and program administration. We're looking for someone who brings energy, a high lacrosse knowledge, and a deep commitment to the student-athlete experience within a competitive academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and conducting practices and game preparation
Provide on-field instruction and motivation to student-athletes
Support the recruitment of high-character student-athletes who align with Wabash’s mission
Foster positive relationships with recruits, players, alumni, campus partners, and the broader lacrosse community
Ensure compliance with all NCAA, NCAC, and institutional policies
Contribute to the overall operation, culture, and success of the lacrosse program
Utilize modern technology and social media to support team operations and recruiting
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Previous coaching and/or collegiate playing experience in men’s lacrosse
Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain quality student-athletes
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, recruiting platforms, social media, and video analysis tools
