Franklin & Marshall College is recruiting for a full-time Associate Director of Athletics - Operations & Facilities.

Location: F&M Campus - Lancaster, PA Classification: Full-time, Exempt Schedule: 40 hours, Monday- Friday. May require evenings and weekends. Reports to: Director of Athletics & Recreation Department: Athletics & Recreation Approved Annual Salary: $67,000 - $72,000 Job Description:
The Associate Director of Athletics assists the Director of Athletics & Recreation in the overall administration of the department, with a primary focus on all aspects of facilities and operations to provide best-in-class experiences for all constituents. This position also serves as a sport administrator for select sports.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for all internal and external athletics facility scheduling, coordinating with facilities and operations to ensure all athletic venues are ready for practice, competition, rental or general campus use, including program set-up, arranging work crew and other logistical needs to execute a best-in-class experience of space usage. Select, supervise, and evaluate athletic facilities professional staff and student employees, which includes workforce scheduling, work assignments and payroll. Athletic facility employee responsibilities include building supervision and management, scoreboard and game/shot clock operators, public address, camera operators, etc. Serve as sport administrator for select sports, providing oversight and strategic direction for programs including but not limited to personnel, budgets, student-athlete well-being, compliance and academics. Manage facility budgets as assigned, including the preparation, submission, execution and reconciliation of conference and NCAA postseason bids, serving as tournament director if selected as host. Develop and manage facility improvement plans, execute preventative, corrective and deferred maintenance, daily safety, assist with day-to-day facility/operations and home athletic events as needed. Work directly with outside vendors to ensure event and facility rentals are properly staffed per contract or city requirement; act as liaison and collaborate with campus departments such as Conference & Events, Student Affairs, club sports and recreational programs. Maintain, distribute, purchase, and lease athletic/recreational equipment while sustaining successful vendor relationships; develops and/or works from a maintenance plan, identifies facility structural needs, acts as a liaison and point of contact with facilities and operations for maintenance/repair requests and general facility services. All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
At least 5 years of relevant experience with NCAA compliance and leadership with student activities/sports.
Current CPR, AED and first aid certification.
Experience with maintenance operations within Athletics or similar field.
Prior proven supervisory experience.
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
Evidence of a commitment to community and belonging.
Valid driver's license.
Successful interview.
Successful completion of background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree.
7 or more years of experience with NCAA compliance and leadership with student activities/sports.
Additional Information:
