North Carolina State University is hiring for a Head Athletic Trainer within the Athletics/Sports Medicine Department. This position will serve as the Athletic Trainer for Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country. At a minimum, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assisting the Associate Athletics Director for Sports Medicine in interviewing, selecting, training, and overall management of assigned employees – including Athletic Training Fellows. - Providing injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes and referral to associated health care professionals when necessary. - Communication and collaboration with sports coaches, strength coaches, sports nutritionists, mental health professionals, and other members of Pack Performance units
