The Assistant Athletic Trainer will support and assist the Head Athletic Trainer to provides prevention, care, and rehabilitation services for student-athlete athletic injuries in compliance with all institutional, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and other national and conference policies and guidelines. The role provides athletic training coverage for team practices and competitions based on season and sport assignment as designated by Head Athletic Trainer. The Assistant Athletic Trainer collaborates with physicians and physical therapists for off-campus appointments, evaluation, diagnostic testing, rehabilitation, and medical clearance of athletic injuries.
