UVM Athletics is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and creative individual to join our team as a Game Day Promotions Coordinator. This full-time temporary paid position offers hands-on experience in sports marketing, event operations, and fan engagement within a fast-paced NCAA Division I environment. You'll work closely with the external relations team to develop and deliver game day experiences while enhancing the visibility of Catamount Athletics on campus and in the community.

Key Responsibilities: Plan, develop, and execute in-game marketing promotions and fan engagement activities to create a dynamic and memorable game day experience. Assist with gameday setup, production, and execution—including script writing for the videoboard and PA, spirit group and mascot coordination, on-field/court/ice promotions, and post-event wrap-up. Assist with various sport program community service efforts. Work closely with the Athletic Ticket Office serving as the main contact for group ticket experiences, including outreach and on-site coordination. Provide top-tier customer service to fans at marketing tables and throughout event venues. Support operations related to facilities and event management, including staff supervision and coordination with coaches around in game promotions. Mentor and provide leadership to interns and student staff. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sports management, communications, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in marketing, event planning, or game operations (this can be internship experience).
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in high pressure environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Customer service-oriented with a positive team-first, and go getter mentality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an NCAA Division I collegiate athletics department.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms.
• Experience managing or mentoring interns or student workers.
• Familiarity with fan engagement strategies and game production elements.
