Provide treatment and prevention techniques for athletic injuries; promote safety in intercollegiate competition. Assist with evaluating and treating athletic injuries; consult with a physician and the Director of Sports Medicine. Design and implement a rehabilitation program for injured athletes. Administer emergency first aid to student-athletes. Assist in supervising the Intern Athletic Trainer Program. Prepare student-athletes for practice and competition using standard athletic training techniques. Give student-athletes nutritional guidance, as needed.
