The Assistant Swim Coach is responsible for aiding the Head Men’s and Women’s Swimming Coach in the planning and direction of the varsity swim programs. They will oversee the recruitment of prospective student-athletes, help plan and run team practices and competitions, help direct the program’s social media accounts, and assist with strength, conditioning, performance and wellness programming for the student-athletes. They will create and assess team training programs, and assist with fiscal program management for Bates College’s NCAA Division III intercollegiate men’s and women’s swimming and diving program. Aquatics and pool operations duties include managing the programming for and running of the pool. This is a professional coaching position and all of the duties of the position
