The University of New England, a NCAA Division III member of the Conference of New England (CNE) is accepting applications for the position of Head Softball Coach. This position is a full-time, 12-month assignment reporting to the Director of Athletics.
The Head Softball Coach is responsible for all aspects of planning, developing, and coaching the softball program in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University of New England and NCAA Division III. The Head Softball Coach will lead the recruitment and development of student-athletes, foster a positive team culture, and ensure a first-rate NCAA Division III student-athlete experience. Additionally, the Head Softball Coach will have a secondary administrative duty and contest management outside of the primary playing season.
A bachelor’s degree is required, while a master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have 3-5 years of previous collegiate coaching experience, or a combination of education and professional experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
