An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
•Staffing and supervision of event staff team members and student workers, assisting visiting teams and officials, assist in the setup, breakdown and game operations for all home contests and some facility rentals, compliance with NCAA, Big 12 and ADA policies and procedures, communication with various units within the department as well as external groups and general office duties. Ensures excellent customer service. Specific sport responsibilities will be assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Event Operations.
•Organize, direct, coordinate, evaluate and schedule part-time workers for athletics events; interview, hire and train a large number of part-time event workers.
•Update and maintain event profiles, manuals and/or information packets

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience working at an NCAA Division I athletic department in event and game day management
- Excellent time management, oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proven strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong customer service, leadership and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of Event Management related experience working with an intercollegiate athletics department
- General knowledge of NCAA competition guidelines related to game management
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must possess a valid driver’s license at all times
