Overview Orange County Parks and Recreation, established in 1973, is dedicated to maintaining beautiful parks, preserving the environment, and providing exceptional recreation for the well-being of our communities. With a team of 300 full-time employees, the division manages nearly 15,000 acres of land, operating 100 parks, trails, and facilities, including 11 recreation centers, two senior centers, one swimmingpool, five splash pads, and 11 public boat ramps.
