•Maintenance of membership sport participation and contact information •Coordination and collaboration with governance-related projects •Day-to-day support of the NJCAA coaches associations •Overall membership support, especially as it relates to region leadership •Over-all support to Emerging sports committees.

Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

•Maintain accurate sport participation records and create participation reports in the NJCAA Admin Portal.

•Coordinate with the NJCAA Coaches Associations, especially with rosters, elections, hall-of-fame logistics, surveys, etc., as well as maintaining meeting minutes and distribution.

•Support the Vice President for Championships, Membership, and Sports Governance along with the Assistant Vice President for Sports Governance and Regional Leadership, with all agendas, and distribution of information.

•Assist business department with annual membership renewals and coaches’ association dues processes.

•Provide support to Senior Director of Sports Governance and Regional Leadership with duties related to sport committees and the districting and regional processes for the NJCAA.

•Assist Regional Directors with general NJCAA support.

•Provide coordination for the committee appointment nomination and appointment process, annually.

•Be the primary liaison to sports chairs of emerging sports. Work with them on assisting with the growth of the sport, transitioning to a championship sport, and help with agendas, minutes and sport codes.

•All other duties as assigned by Vice President or Assistant Vice President.

Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Some professional experience in a field related to intercollegiate athletics is preferred.

Demonstrated customer service, organization, leadership, planning, and conflict management.

A good command of Microsoft Office. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platform preferred.

The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to establish positive public relations and to interact effectively with staff, member colleges, athletic directors, and student-athletes.

The ability to establish and maintain collaborative, effective working relationships with team members, member colleges, athletic directors, student-athletes and the public.

Problem solving skills, judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in evaluating information.

The ability to write effectively and efficiently.

The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
