Kennesaw State University Athletics seeks a Head Coach, Women’s Golf responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the NCAA Division I women's golf program at Kennesaw State University. Charged with developing a nationally competitive program while fostering a culture of academic excellence, leadership, and student-athlete development. Oversees recruiting, coaching, program administration, compliance, fundraising, and community engagement, ensuring alignment with NCAA, conference, and university policies. This role also involves planning and directing all activities of the women's golf program, including training, competitions, and player development. Organizes, supervises, and employs sound coaching techniques and practices to prepare student-athletes for Conference Championships and post-season competitions. Assumes a leadership role in department-wide priorities and initiatives, contributing to the overall success of KSU Athletics. Creates an atmosphere favorable to academic and athletic development of student-athletes. Identifies, evaluates, and recruits high-caliber student-athletes who align with KSU's academic and athletic standards. Develops relationships with high school and club coaches to build a sustainable talent pipeline. Ensures compliance with NCAA recruiting regulations, including evaluations, visits, and communications. Monitors academic progress, retention, and graduation rates of student-athletes to ensure compliance with university and NCAA academic standards. Collaborates with academic support staff to provide resources that promote student-athlete success and degree completion. Supervises and manages the coaching staff, including assistant coaches and graduate assistants, as permitted by NCAA and university policies. Oversees the program's budget, equipment and uniforms purchasing, games and practices scheduling, and team travel logistics. Ensures strict adherence to all NCAA, conference, State of Georgia, and university policies, rules, and regulations. Leads fundraising initiatives and alumni engagement efforts to enhance program resources and support. Represents the program in university and Department of Athletics events, promoting KSU Athletics locally and nationally. Develops and participates in public relations and outreach efforts, including camps, clinics, and community service programs.
Required Experience Four (4) years collegiate and or professional coaching experience with previous experience in a supervisory role
