Position Purpose Under the guidance and direction of the Manager of Esports, Social Media Interns are responsible for assisting in the execution of the following areas: assistance in managing NJCAAE Discord; assistance in managing NJCAAE social channels; review questions and respond to questions and communications on social media platforms; assist in the creation and adjustment of graphics; assist NJCAAE Graduate Assistants and Staff functions related to Marketing and Social Media; and assist the Manager of Esports in other functions relative to NJCAAE operations.
Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. ?Assist in execution of marketing and social media campaigns. ?Assist in community management. ?Support NJCAAE strategic partners by following predefined social media campaigns. ?Assist in the creation of social media and marketing graphics. ?Assists NJCAAE Staff and Graduate Assistants with functions relative to NJCAAE Marketing and Social Media. ?Assists Manager of Esports, Staff, and Graduate Assistants with functions relative to NJCAAE operations. ?Assists in Supervision of NJCAAE Discord.

Qualifications – Education, Experience, and Skills
Demonstrated experience in customer service, organization and planning.
Some sales experience is preferred.
Understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
The ability to establish and maintain collaborative, effective working relationships with team members, member colleges, athletic directors, student-athletes and the public.
Problem solving skills, judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in evaluating information.
The ability to write effectively and efficiently.
The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
Must be efficient and organized with a high level of attention to detail.
