McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to serve as a graduate assistant for the men’s and women’s volleyball teams on the main campus in Lebanon, Illinois. This position is designated for an individual who is passionate about a future in coaching, player development, and contributing to two competitive programs. Tuition discount and stipend are included.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and acceptance into a master’s program at McKendree University is required.
Responsibilities: •Assist the staff in executing practice sessions, drills, and match scouting. •Support both men’s and women’s head coaches in aspects of recruiting, scouting, and visit organization. •Assist with team travel arrangements, gameday operations, and overall team logistics. •Assist in the management and creation of engaging content for the teams social media platforms, staying current with trends to enhance recruiting and program visibility. •Perform additional duties as assigned by the men’s and women’s volleyball head coaches, assistant coach, and athletic department.
Qualifications: •The successful candidate will also have some coaching experience and playing experience at the NAIA or NCAA division I or II level. •Excellent communication, leadership, and organization skills. •Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. •Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
FLSA Category: Exempt Salary Range: $350.00 stipend on a bi-weekly basis during the academic year.
